The farmhouse is approached by a 200-yard tarmac drive.
We have a private car park with allocated bays and ample turning area. The majority of parking is on a concrete or gravel surface.
The car park is lit with sodium lighting at night.
The entrance into the farmhouse is located within 20 metres of the car park. Cars can also be brought within 10 metres of the house for dropping off and picking up luggage, which is on a gravelled surface to the entrance of the conservatory.
If help with luggage on arrival is required, we can arrange for the luggage to be taken to the room.
The main entrance to the farmhouse has a 9-inch step leading into the conservatory, which has an oak laminate floor.
Seating is available in the conservatory area.
At this point there is a small step, which leads into the hallway, with parquet flooring stained oak.
The Dining room and Lounge are on this same level. Both have carpet flooring. Consequently there is a good colour contrast to floor, walls and doorways. The farmhouse is a two-storey building with no lifts.
To approach the first floor there are some steps leading into three en-suite bedrooms.
Rooms are clearly marked with raised numbers.
Ground floor accommodation adjacent to farmhouse
The entrance to the ground floor en-suite bedrooms can be accessed along the gravel area past the conservatory, which has no steps linking changes in level.
The PVC entrance door is wide enough for a wheelchair (approx 800mm). However there are no disabled facilities in these en-suite rooms, other than being ground floor.
All rooms are clearly marked with raised numbers.
Consequently there is a good colour contrast to floor, walls and doorways.
Service dogs are welcome.
Task lighting is available upon request.

The proprietor has been trained under the Welcome Host Scheme.
